1. Why buy O'BON products such as O'BON pencils?
Multiple reasons. By using old newspaper to make our pencils, we aren't cutting down any trees or using any new raw materials to make our products. By choosing O'BON, our customers are making the better environmental choice. The graphite in the pencils are wrapped with used newspaper so tightly that the graphite inside is given a strong layer of protection. This means that the graphite hardly ever breaks, resulting in a pencil that lasts about 3 times longer than the average wood one. And to top it all off, our designs are the best in the business.

2. Are my transactions secure?
Yes, all orders are secure. We use an encryption system so that any information given will be 100 percent secure. All online transactions through O'BON are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, and then it is decoded when it gets to us.

3. Can I ship to South America or Europe?
We are currently developing this ability, but right now we only ship to the United States and Canada.

4. How long before I receive my shipment?
Total time from date of order to you receiving your shipment is approximately 5 to 7 business days. We usually ship in-stock orders within 24 - 48 hours after receiving them during daytime business hours, Monday - Friday. Orders are usually in stock, with a few occasional exceptions.

5. What is our return policy?
If you are unhappy with any item you have purchased from us, you may return it for a refund within 14 days. If you need to return your purchase, please contact us at support@obonpencils.com . We are fully confident that you will love our products but if anything is not what you expected, we understand. 6. Where are O'BON Products manufactured? O'BON products are manufactured in China. This is because China has some of the very best production facilties for products such as recycled newspaper pencils. Most of O'BONs distribution takes place in Asia so there is also a geographical advantage to being located in China. In response to concerns about production in China, all O'BON products are made safe and non-toxic, and our facilities exceed all strict labor standards.

6. How are we green?
Besides producing nothing but eco-friendly products (packaging included) from re-used by-products, and using our leftover manufacturing "mulch" to grow surrounding gardens, we are proud to say that our website and credit card processors are green as well! Hosting is provided by Super Green Hosting, whose servers are powered by wind and trees are planted in a bid to reverse the effects of global warming.
